About me
Hi, I’m Chuck Pepe-Ranney 👋 and welcome to my blog.
I help teams make sense of data. I have deep experience in biotech and genomics, where I’ve built predictive models, LLM-powered tools, and reliable data pipelines, along with reporting systems people actually enjoy using.
I also love teaching this stuff. I’ve developed three graduate data science courses at UNC:
- Data Science Basics (BIOS 512)
- Statistical Modeling and Inference for Data Science (DATA 730), materials on GitHub
- Data Science Methods in Biological & Health Sciences (DATA 791)
If you’re looking for help with data science, data engineering, machine learning, or analytics, I’d love to chat. The best way to reach me is LinkedIn.
